Submit a recent video of you singing any song live with the entry form below (it doesn't have to be the same song you sing at the competition and it can be any length). Video does not have to be professional quality! We'll let you know by email if you've been selected within a week. Auditions will close on September 30th (or sooner if categories fill up). ***Do not pay the entry fee until you are selected!***

Items 1-8 below are short references to some of the rules that are more fully explained on the "Rules" and "Terms & Conditions" pages:

1) Choose an inspirational/family-friendly song and get advance approval (Contestants should choose family-friendly songs with a focus on uplifting, positive, and hopeful themes. We also welcome and encourage faith-based songs about Jesus and God.)
2) Songs must be cut to 2.5 minutes
3) No background vocals on tracks
4) Tracks must be purchased from approved sources
5) Some tracks require a license
6) Receipt is required for track purchase
7) Ticket purchase requirement
8) Modest wardrobe requirement and advance approval (2 weeks before event)

We are very strict on the rules to comply with copyright laws and to make an even playing field for all contestants. Entrants who don't read and comply with the rules will not be allowed to participate.

Step 4: Pay Entry Fee AFTER You Are Selected

Risk-free Entry:

If your category/age division is full, we will immediately refund your entry fee.
If the event is canceled, we will immediately refund your entry fee.

Note: Entry fee is NOT refundable or transferable if you enter and then decide not to participate for any reason. Please be sure you can follow through before you pay the entry fee.

*Each entry will also sell a total of 10 tickets @ $10 each, prior to the competition date by deadline given.
Duos & Groups pay 1 entry fee per group (not per group member).
Multiple entries allowed: Singers may enter in multiple categories. (Separate audition video, entry form, and fee are required for each entry. )
Tickets are RESERVED SEATING. Each contestant will need a ticket to have a reserved seat (your ticket can count as one of the 10 tickets you are required to sell). Tickets Tab

Vocal Sport is a very costly event to produce because it offers much more than a typical singing competition!

Professional Venue: To give each contestant a high-quality experience
Cash Prizes: Awarded to 1st place in each category/age division
Trophies: Awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category/age division
Prizes: Valuable prizes and opportunities offered
Videography: A professional videographer captures each performance for YouTube
Photography: A professional photographer captures each performance
Judges: Minimum of 3 (and sometimes assistants for each judge)
Hosts: Professional hosts make the event fun for everyone
Guest Artists: To perform while judges are tallying scores and writing feedback after each category/age division
Advertising & Promoting: Getting the word out and also promoting our contestants and sponsors is an important part of Vocal Sport
Office Staff: The staff manages entries and communication and promotes contestants on social media
Competition Staff: Many people help things to run smoothly on competition day

NO DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE:
Entry fees and ticket sales are how Vocal Sport is primarily funded. Discounts are not offered for multiple entries or for family members because each available spot in each category/age division must bring in the full dollar amount to fund the competition.

NO REFUNDS OFFERED:
Refunds are NOT offered for any reason. The work for each entry has already been done before the competition begins. Further, dropouts can change entire categories/age divisions, which can be devastating to the competition. We discourage dropouts by not offering any refunds whatsoever. Please be sure you can follow through before you pay the entry fee.
